Dr. Anis completed his fellowship in Laryngology and Laryngeal Surgery under renowned surgeon and innovator, Dr. Steven Zeitels at Massachusetts General Hospital - Harvard Medical School. Dr. Anis has advanced training in voice restoration surgery (phonosurgery) and using the KTP photoangiolytic laser to treat cancer and dysplasia with maximal preservation of normal vibratory functions of the voice box. He is trained in care of the Professional Voice and performs office-based procedures on the larynx.
Dr. Anis strives to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from all diseases of the ears, nose and throat. His clinical focus lies in caring for patients with voice changes, breathing difficulty and swallowing difficulty.
Dr. Anis pursues research to improve the quality of life of patients with laryngeal cancer and stenosis. His goal is to establish a vibrant, state-of-the-art voice center at Coastal Ear, Nose and Throat.
