Orvette Cox, MS, PA-C
Orvette Cox received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson Broaddus University and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western Carolina University. She has been certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) since 2015 and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). She is also a member of The Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.
Orvette began her career in ENT after graduation and then switched to retail health. After working in a retail health setting for 2 years, she quickly realized that she had a preference for the vast amount of procedures and great scope of practice a physician assistant has in the ENT specialty. She is very happy to work on behalf of Coastal Ear, Nose and Throat in the hospital, operating room and clinic, as needed. She greatly enjoys being able to speak with patients about their ailments in a way that they can understand.
When Orvette isn’t working she enjoys exercising, traveling and trying new things like skydiving.
