Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Hirsch earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hirsch received his Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his internship in General Surgery at University of Louisville in Kentucky. His residency followed in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Louisville, where he also served as Chief Resident. Subsequently, he pursued advanced fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at New York Head and Neck Institute at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York City.Dr. Hirsch has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and, in addition, is a principal author in the Pediatric Otolaryngologic Surgery: Surgical Techniques in Otolaryngology textbook. In 2012 and 2013, Dr. Hirsch was awarded first place in the Resident Division in Research and the Kentucky Society of Otolaryngology. Dr. Hirsch is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Since 2016, Dr. Hirsch has been a part of the Clinical Competency Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and Hospital Information Management Committee at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. During his time at Mount Sinai in New York City, he was an Assistant Professor in Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology. Furthermore, he is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery.
