Pratik Patel, M.D.
Dr. Pratik B. Patel, a native of New Jersey, is excited to return to the community he calls home after training at some of the nation’s most prestigious academic institutions. Dr. Patel graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology.
Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, serving as Chief Resident during his final year. In residency, Dr. Patel trained at multiple Los Angeles County health facilities, including Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Olive View Medical Center, gaining extensive operative and trauma experience. He also completed pediatric training at the renowned Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
Dr. Patel has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and given presentations at national meetings in nearly every discipline of the specialty, including Pediatrics, Otology, Laryngology, Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery, and Head and Neck Oncology. Dr. Patel has comprehensive training in the evaluation and evidence-based treatment of general otolaryngology conditions in adults and children, including: nasal and sinus diseases, allergy, sleep and breathing problems, speech and swallowing disorders, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, benign and cancerous lesions of the head, neck, and salivary glands, and ear dysfunction.
Dr. Patel is driven by a philosophy that emphasizes compassion for each patient’s unique concerns and an appreciation that there is no substitute for truly listening to patients and their families. He looks forward to partnering with his patients to help them understand and navigate all aspects of their disease processes and improve their quality of life.
