Janine DeBrito, PT, DPT
Dr. Janine DeBrito received her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and her Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Misericordia University in 2004 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Sigma, and Kappa Gamma Pi Honors Societies. She returned to Misericordia University and earned her Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy in 2008.

Dr. DeBrito is a licensed New Jersey Physical Therapist. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy (ANPT), and the Vestibular Disorders Association. Dr. DeBrito is a Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist and has experience treating patients with vestibular disorders for over 11 years. Dr. DeBrito received her Certification as a Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist under Susan J. Herdman at Emory University in 2010.

In addition to her work as a Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist, Dr. DeBrito has experience as a Clinic Director and the Director of Vestibular Rehabilitation. She also worked at the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute Balance Clinic at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ for over 7 years, evaluating patients with vestibular disorders.

Dr. DeBrito has served as a course instructor and faculty member for the JFK Professional Development Series conference, “Dizziness: Evaluation, Management, and Rehabilitation”. She has given numerous lectures on vestibular rehabilitation to patients, therapists, physicians, and rehabilitation medical residents.

Dr. DeBrito evaluates and rehabilitates patients with a variety of Vestibular Disorders who suffer with debilitating symptoms such as vertigo, dizziness and imbalance. It is her passion to help patients with Vestibular disorders achieve functional independence in their everyday activities, reduce the risk of falling and improve the quality of their lives.
