Ear Procedures

Diseases of the ear can affect hearing and balance and lead to significant functional problems for patients suffering from ear disease. Due to the small size of the ear, treating ear disease usually requires specialized training and microscopic surgery. The physicians and audiologists at Coastal Ear, Nose and Throat understand the complex structure and function of the ear and can evaluate, diagnose and treat your ear problem using state-of-the-art technology including surgical and non-surgical management depending on the severity and nature of your problem. Ear procedures that we do at Coastal Surgery Center include:

Nose / Sinus Procedures

Our practice treats an abundance of sinonasal disease, and has fellowship-trained physicians who specialize in disorders of the skull base, and sinonasal disease in the pediatric population. We offer specialized approaches that range from the most minimally invasive balloon sinuplasty techniques, to directed approaches for the removal of tumors of the sinonasal cavities and skull base. We use advanced endoscopic techniques, and utilize image-guided navigational surgery and the cutting-edge technologic equipment whenever appropriate. We treat infectious and inflammatory diseases of the sinuses, nasal obstruction with difficulty breathing, and tumors of the nose, sinuses, or skull base, among many other conditions.

Sinusitis, nasal obstruction, and tumors of the sinonasal cavities and skull base exist across a broad spectrum. Physicians who treat these disorders should be equipped to do so with a tailored approach designed to eradicate disease and improve your general health, while minimizing risks for recurrent symptoms and morbidity. The physicians at Coastal take exactly this careful directed approach to every patient presenting with any of the vast array of symptoms associated with diseases and tumors of the nose and sinuses. The treatment of sinonasal disease is one of the many specialties we pride ourselves in.
