Dr. Jared M. Goldfarb combines his background in otolaryngology with advanced training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. His work at Coastal Ear, Nose and Throat includes cosmetic procedures for patients who want to change or refresh their appearance, reconstructive surgery following skin cancer or facial nerve damage, and functional procedures that can improve nasal breathing. Across these different areas, he takes a personalized approach with careful attention to both how a patient looks and how the treated area functions.
Dr. Goldfarb has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented his work at national, international, and military conferences. During residency, his research using 3D printing for rhinoplasty surgical training earned the Senior Resident Research Award, and he served as president of the Jefferson Otolaryngology Society in 2016. He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Goldfarb earned his Bachelor of Arts in Medicine, Health & Society from Vanderbilt University before attending Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University for his medical degree. He remained at Thomas Jefferson University to complete his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Following residency, Dr. Goldfarb completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Texas Center for Facial Plastic & Laser Surgery in San Antonio, TX. This additional training focused specifically on cosmetic, functional, and reconstructive procedures involving the face and neck.
Dr. Goldfarb's expertise includes facial plastic surgery, reconstruction, and general ENT care for adults and children. He performs cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, facelifts, neck lifts, brow lifts, blepharoplasty, and otoplasty, along with nonsurgical treatments such as BOTOX® and dermal fillers. His reconstructive work includes repair after Mohs surgery, facial nerve reconstruction for conditions such as Bell's palsy, and nasal reconstruction. He also treats deviated septums and other structural nasal problems that can interfere with breathing.
