Melanie Pangilinan, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Melanie Pangilinan enjoys helping patients better understand their hearing and what can be done when hearing changes begin to affect everyday life. As an audiologist at Coastal Ear, Nose and Throat, she works with patients experiencing hearing problems and provides hearing aid fittings for those who can benefit from additional hearing support.

Patient education is especially important to Dr. Pangilinan. She takes the time to explain hearing test results, discuss available options, and help patients make informed decisions about their care. Her focus is not only on addressing hearing difficulties, but also on helping patients stay engaged in the conversations, activities, and experiences that are important to them.

Dr. Pangilinan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She later attended Montclair State University, where she received her Doctor of Audiology degree.

She is clinically certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds audiology licenses in New Jersey and New York. Dr. Pangilinan also holds a Hearing Aid Dispensing license in New Jersey.

Dr. Pangilinan specializes in hearing disorders. She performs hearing evaluations and works with patients who need hearing aids, from selecting an appropriate device through fitting and adjustment.
