"I’ve had chronic sinus congestion for some time now. In recent years, it had been getting worse and about three years ago I decided to seek medical intervention. I could function during the day but could barely pass air through my nose at night. 4-5 hours of sleep was about all I could muster and that was taking its toll.I found a large ENT practice with an office in Shrewsbury and started there. More than two years and multiple visits later, including a $10k turbinate reduction surgery at Monmouth Medical, zero relief. It was as if I had never set foot in their office. I was angry that so much time and my insurance company’s money was wasted on ineffective treatments.I stumbled on Coastal ENT and started over with Dr Shargorodsky. He got right to the point with a CT scan to find out WHY I could breathe through my nose. Imagine that. The practice in Shrewsbury never even suggested such an investigatory step.I had septoplasty surgery a few weeks ago and while I’m still healing, I’m already experiencing dramatic improvements. I can breathe so much easier now and I’m actually getting eight hours of sleep every night! Anyone who has experienced chronic sleep deprivation can tell you that’s huge.My positive experience doesn’t stop with Dr Shargorodsky. Every member of the Coastal ENT staff was excellent, from the front desk people to the surgical coordinator, to the surgical team, they all impressed me as competent and professional every step of the way.
