"My mother is 81 and had a nosebleed so bad that it sent us to the hospital and eventually required admission and a blood transfusion! A PA from Coastal ENT came to the ER to pack her nose to help stop the bleeding. She was wonderful. She was gentle, kind and encouraging. Just what my mother needed.Three days later we went to the office and saw Dr. Bressler. First, the staff at the office were all so personable and kind. My mother was so scared to have that packing removed as she thought it would hurt and second, she thought it would bleed again.Dr. Bressler was so sweet, very encouraging and positive. She took her time and was as gentle as possible. Unfortunately the vessel was too far back to be cauterized but it didn’t bleed. Dr. Bressler took her time explaining why it couldn’t be cauterized, how to help prevent the vessel from bleeding again, what to do if it does and what to expect if it becomes a recurring problem. She answered every question with kindness and compassion and never made us feel rushed or unimportant. You can tell she truly loves her job and loves people.I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Bressler and Coastal ENT! My oldest son may need an ENT soon. If so, I’m going to bring him to Dr. Bressler!"
"I have been going to ear specialists since I was 5 years old ! That was 70 years ago ! Seventy years of so many doctors who have had to clean out the collection of ear wax and dead skin that builds up after several mastoid surgeries. It can be very painful. But since I have gone to Lydia Hawk, Physician Assistant at Coastal Ear Nose and Throat, I can honestly say she is the best ! Cleans out my ears with no pain whatsoever. She has a great personality, making each visit a calm, comfortable experience."

"Dr. Silberman is the best! He’s done a major nasal surgery on one of my daughters and a tonsillectomy on another. My daughter that had the tonsillectomy threw up (she got motion sickness in the car about 6 days post op) and ruptured a blood vessel when a scab came off and was bleeding really bad and I called the office en route to the ER and Dr. Silberman was at the hospital before we were even registered. She ended up needing an operation to stop the bleeding and I don’t know what his schedule was like that day but he never left my daughter until she was stable. He is not only good at what he does but his bedside manner is wonderful!! Caring, kind, and just a great human being. I highly recommend him and his office."

"Three years ago Dr Goldfarb did plastic surgery on my nose because I had skin cancer and needed Moh’s Surgery! My husband and I were amazed how he closed the wound! It was quite large and it’s not detectable by anyone! Last week I had the same procedure but it was more on my face and the size of a nickel! Dr Goldfarb was my choice since he did incredible work the first time! Once again he has done another incredible plastic surgery to make this look as good as the first time ! He has an incredible team who are so nice and caring ! Doctor Goldfarb is so talented and is so compassionate and caring ! My husband and I think he is best! "Dr Houston is great. I have been his patient for 25 years- now my son who is 7 is also a patient. He is so skilled in his area of expertise that he performs what needs to be done with ease and minimal discomfort in such a short period of time. He was great with my son. Extremely knowledgeable and very direct which I can appreciate. Highly recommend. My son needed his nose cauterized due to nasal hemorrhages and he made this process seamless. Engaging my son in conversation about his legos and before you know it we were done! Highly recommend!"
"I’ve had chronic sinus congestion for some time now. In recent years, it had been getting worse and about three years ago I decided to seek medical intervention. I could function during the day but could barely pass air through my nose at night. 4-5 hours of sleep was about all I could muster and that was taking its toll.I found a large ENT practice with an office in Shrewsbury and started there. More than two years and multiple visits later, including a $10k turbinate reduction surgery at Monmouth Medical, zero relief. It was as if I had never set foot in their office. I was angry that so much time and my insurance company’s money was wasted on ineffective treatments.I stumbled on Coastal ENT and started over with Dr Shargorodsky. He got right to the point with a CT scan to find out WHY I could breathe through my nose. Imagine that. The practice in Shrewsbury never even suggested such an investigatory step.I had septoplasty surgery a few weeks ago and while I’m still healing, I’m already experiencing dramatic improvements. I can breathe so much easier now and I’m actually getting eight hours of sleep every night! Anyone who has experienced chronic sleep deprivation can tell you that’s huge.My positive experience doesn’t stop with Dr Shargorodsky. Every member of the Coastal ENT staff was excellent, from the front desk people to the surgical coordinator, to the surgical team, they all impressed me as competent and professional every step of the way. That’s rare in my experience.If you have the need for an ENT provider, I strongly recommend Coastal ENT. My only regret is not finding them sooner."

Before seeing him, I could barely breathe through my nose; now I have no issues at all.The improvement has truly been life changing. "I was seen by Dr. McAfee for a follow-up visit after he put in a drain in my right ear to drain the fluid that had accumulated and so future fluid would not accumulate, so I can hear again in that ear. Because up until he put the drain in my ear I could not hear in that ear cause I was in & out of hospitals and nursing home subacute rehabs for 5-6 months to treat my stage 4 lung cancer and could not get to a ENT Doctor. "I’ve seen Dr Patel a couple times before FESS was recommended, I trust him with this surgery. I’ve been dealing with sinus pressure, headaches, difficulty breathing through nose for years. He tried several medications that just didn’t solve my issue & recommend this procedure after trying other alternatives- that alone builds my trust , and just didn’t want to rush to surgery. I’m set to have surgery on 6/10/25 and can’t wait"

"I think the staff was nice And took care of me right away, even though I was an hour early due to transportation. The nurse practitioner answered all of my questions about what was going on with my ear and then I found out it was me that was causing the problems. "Dr. Goldfarb is truly an amazing surgeon! I had a septoplasty and rhinoplasty and I was super scared going into the surgery but he truly made the process so smooth and easy! His office is wonderful and you really feel safe going in. Throughout the entire process he makes sure that you feel comfortable and that you know exactly what’s waiting for you! I had a very distinctive shape to my nose which I was very insecure about as well as some major problems breathing; after the surgery even though I am only a week post-op, I can breathe so much easier and comfortably! "Dr. Goldfarb is absolutely incredible! I came in regarding my deviated septum and also had a few questions in reference to possibly also doing a rhinoplasty at the same time. Not once did I feel pressured, overwhelmed or nervous. I ended up booking my surgery that same week and got lucky with a quick surgery date. Bedside manner was amazing. Recovery was great and I received multiple calls to see how I was feeling. My results are also stunning and mind you, I only had surgery two weeks ago! "I had a MOHS procedure done to remove a basal cell on the bridge of my nose. Dr. Goldfarb met with me before the procedure to explain the variety of ways he could close the wound depending on its size/exact location. He answered every question I had and showed me photos of similar possible outcomes. The closure left me with stitches on the bridge of my nose and around the curve of my nostril. Three months later I can barely see the scar (completely invisible under makeup) and my nose looks like it used to. I’m very happy with my results and my experience with Dr. Goldfarb’s office. Besides the great aesthetic result everyone there was friendly and made a somewhat stressful experience as easy as it could be. Highly recommend!"

"This was my 1st time going to an ENT (Ears Nose Throat) Doctor. The staff here at Coastal ENT were pleasant and got me through to registration process fairly quickly. I sat in the waiting area for maybe 5 minutes then I was called into the back where I'd be seen by the doctor. I gave the doc's assistant a run down of why I was there and then she said she'd be back with the doctor in a few mins. I waited only a few mins and then they both came in. The doctor assessed me and my situation and gave me a hopeful solution. In and out of Coastal in 20 mins tops. Oh, one more thing... I find their Patient Portal a huge help and very beneficial. Log on and set up your account. You do everything on there... set up or cancel appointments, see test results, diagnoses, prognosis, the doctor's notes, put in a request, see all of your patient info, and so much more!"

"Dr Qasim is great!!! Had a 90 percent blockage deviated septum. He fixed it, removed the polyps in my nose, and did much more stuff. A few weeks later I’m breathing a lot better! If your hesitating to work with him please don’t!!! 5 stars is the least I can give him! Thanks again"
"I wish I went sooner…After 10 years of not being able to breathe out of the right side of my nose I can happily say that after surgery I’ve never been able to breath better than Ive ever imagined.I randomly picked the BEST doctor and TEAM in the area to help me. Dr. Husain and his team are world class…After the first appointment I felt confident that Dr. Husain was a doctor that I could trust and never have to worry about it again. Dr Husain even called me the night before my surgery to make sure I was ready and didn’t have any last questions to make me feel as comfortable as possible. The day of the surgery Dr Husain was in and out of the pre surgery room talking to my 8 month pregnant wife and myself making sure we were both completely understanding of the process and what to expect. "Dr. McAfee is a fantastic doctor and truly an expert in his field.I was suffering from hearing loss and it was becoming more frustrating every day not being able to communicate with people. I was going to another ENT practice before going to see Dr. McAfee. The other ENT recommended hearing aids, which helped a little at first. After multiple visits and many adjustments I was at a point where this practice could no longer help.I met Dr. McAfee a few years ago and he along with Dr. Sean Houston had suggested that I might have otosclerosis, which was causing my hearing loss. Dr. McAfee had suggested I have a stapedectomy procedure to help with the hearing loss. Dr. McAfee explained the procedure, the risks, and answered all questions I had.After 2 successful procedures, my hearing has improved tremendously! "I have been to two ent and were not crazy about them. I will tell you why I highly recommend Dr. Husain. I became a patient of his a little over two years ago and I have been suffering with acute sinus problems for over five years he was very conservative in the beginning he tried to do everything possible before surgery unfortunately that failed my sinuses were so shut closed I was breathing through my mouth constantly I will be honest with you I was very nervous about the procedure I looked up how it was performed and what exactly was going to be done on YouTube.Which I highly advise not to do because it was totally different from the surgery that I experience. Dr. Hussein explain step-by-step he was very sincere and his bedside manners are absolutely wonderful he told me what to expect right after the surgery couple of days after and the upcoming weeks and he was spot on the surgery was absolutely necessary and I felt no pain at all nor did I take any painkillers I was uncomfortable for the first day and every day since that I have been breathing through my nose and able to smell a little bit each day and I know the next couple of weeks is going to get that much better. "Dr. Husain is great. Just left my post op from my septoplasty and I must say, great work. He recognized my issues right away and gave me a detailed explanation of all options. I was very indecisive so he gave me time to think and upon making the decision, the procedure was scheduled within 10 days. Very professional staff, friendly and well educated medical assistants. I highly recommend Dr. Husain to anyone in need of an otolaryngologist or skull base specialist. Super happy with the results. I never imagined that I would breathe this well ever again. One visit and saw that i had a deviated septum and now after getting my nose fixed i can actually breathe so much better since high school. "For several years I have known that my hearing was very limited. The most difficult part of having hearing loss is the stress and strain it puts on the family. My wife and kids were always being asked to repeat themselves during conversation, which became frustrating not only for me, but for them as well. Then there is the professional aspect. Sitting in meetings or lectures became impossible. I would not get all the information, and when I was spoken to, most of the time I would not even realize I was being asked a question or asked for input. This brings up the embarrassing part. I have spent several years embarrassed that I was not able to hear especially because of my young age. I've learned to read lips without even realizing I was doing it. Many times in conversation I would laugh just because everyone else was laughing. I have learned to judge moods in conversation, such as watching the facial expressions of the person I'm speaking with for the right tone. Saying things like "Ahh I can't believe that", just because the speaker looked shocked.So what do you do? Well I knew I needed to have my ears checked and I went to the local Miracle-Ear and had them checked. The audiologist told me my hearing was really bad. Really? I did't know that!! So they came up with a program, hearing aids and for a lousy 5 grand you'll be able to hear. So ok I'll bite the bullet and do it. They came in, we did one or two adjustments and I was very uncomfortable. I returned to find out the audiologist no longer works there, so I had to have the aids adjusted by someone else. Then again, and again. Before long I was throwing the aids across the room, more frustrated then not hearing. I went back and told them the aids were not working and I wanted to get rid of them. I was told i could not. So I left the aids on the desk and walked out. After some financial mess, I was charged 500 per aid as a "restocking fee". I explained to my wife I'd rather not hear then to deal with that again.Fast forward a few years my hearing was worst then before and now it was a hazard to my job. Being in law enforcement I have to be able to hear. Again young age, so retirement is not that close. I thought maybe there is a medical reason for the loss and maybe there are professionals that deal with hearing loss, not just some "salesman". So I looked into Coastal Ear, Nose & Throat. What do I have to loose?This is were the review starts. Sorry for the rant. I met Courtney Cieri, Aud, CCC-A. Courtney took me into the familiar booth where I was going to spend the next several minutes raising my hand when I hear the beep. IF I hear the beep. But there was a difference. Courtney was tracking my hearing, or lack thereof. She charted and graphed and did whatever it is she does while sending beeps my way. After it was completed she said to me that she can see where my loss is, and what needs to be done with aids to rectify that. She didn't say my hearing was really bad. We both already where aware of that. She explained in detail everything I didn't know. She was compassionate to my feelings about my struggles with my hearing loss and assured me she could help. She explained all my options. I went against one of her recommendations and she understood my reasons for doing so. She further explained if I had to change up to what she recommended she could do so easily. Now she was selling me aids, don't get me wrong, but she was selling me more of a cure. She was assuring me what the end result would be like. And she was correct. Courtney Cieri is by far the best in her field. Whatever powers that made me try one more time was, I'm glad I did. I highly recommend this life changing experience for anyone with hearing loss. She certainly changed mine. Coastal is lucky to have such an asset."

"My grandson was referred to an ear nose and throat doctor because of enlarged tonsils. My daughter and I both accompanied him to the appointment to see dr. Hussain all three of us liked him he was a very nice and very informative. And the staff was excellent. Jen took all of his information and talked with him like they were old friends allowed him time to talk about his favorite show. The girls at the front desk or false are great upon arrival and as we were leaving. They even offered all three of us Tootsie roll which is big in my book. "I found coastal ear and nose by accident, I had a very bad ear infection n my regular dr couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I called them here and they got me right in. Best accident ever! Dr. Roche is such a great dr. He takes his time, he listens to everything u say. He makes the experience like visiting and old friend not going to a dr who just wants to move onto the next person. "Amazing results- I have ear problems almost all my life (I am 76), including several serious surgeries. When I began getting a bit dizzy on a daily basis, I was sure it was a byproduct of my lifelong ear problems. I was really a bit skeptical when my ear doctor (from Coastal Ear, Nose, and Throat), after I told her of my symptoms, suggested that I get therapy. I made an appointment with Dr. Janine DeBrito of Coastal Ear, Nose, and Throat for an evaluation and she suggested a series of sessions to work on thecauses of my dizziness. I honestly (at this point) had my doubts about therapy helping my problem.. Well, I was very wrong! I have just finished 10 sessions with Dr. DeBrito and my dizziness is virtually gone.She worked me through a series of exercises to improve my eye/head movements that caused my problem. I want to sincerely thank Dr. DeBrito for her caring and expert sessions; and also thank her receptionist Kelseyfor accommodating me in my appointment scheduling."

"LOVED my visit with Dr. Roche at the Neptune office. I had to bring my toddler in for an exam and I am so glad that I chose this practice. The office is immaculate, updated and the front desk staff in very friendly. They had a large waiting area and than a completely separate childrens waiting room that was spotless and had toys and books to entertain my little one. Our visit with Dr. Roche was perfect. His calming, soft toned nature immediately put my daughter at ease. His examination of her ears, nose and back of her throat was done with such gentle care.He diagnosed an ear infection and gave us some options for treatment. He did not force oral antibiotics at us (which are so over prescribed IMO) but rather gave us local ear drops to try first.We look forward to our follow-up visit in a couple of weeks!"
