"Dr. Silberman is the best! He’s done a major nasal surgery on one of my daughters and a tonsillectomy on another. My daughter that had the tonsillectomy threw up (she got motion sickness in the car about 6 days post op) and ruptured a blood vessel when a scab came off and was bleeding really bad and I called the office en route to the ER and Dr. Silberman was at the hospital before we were even registered. She ended up needing an operation to stop the bleeding and I don’t know what his schedule was like that day but he never left my daughter until she was stable. He is not only good at what he does but his bedside manner is wonderful!! Caring, kind, and just a great human being. I highly recommend him and his office."

"When I lost hearing in my left ear, I truly believed I might never hear from that side again. After meeting with Dr. Seth McAfee, everything changed. He took the time to listen to my concerns and provided a clear, confident solution.Dr. McAfee recommended a cochlear implant and explained that I was an excellent candidate. The surgery was quick, completely smooth, and essentially pain-free.Now, nearly a year later, my cochlear implant has been absolutely life-changing. "My son and daughter had back to back apts scheduled for 5/22. A few days prior to the apt, I was called that they needed to be rescheduled. The receptionist told me that my son was scheduled for 930am on 6/16 and my daughter for 10am on 6/16. When I arrived this morning, the receptionist informed me that only my son was scheduled, and that "the doctor was double booked" and had nothing available today. I expressed my frustration that I had driven 40 minutes with all 3 of my kids and that two of them were supposed to be seen together. After no response from her I apologized and said "I'm sorry, I know this had nothing to do with you, I'm just frustrated." She still did not acknowledge my statement.I asked her to please switch the apt today to my daughter, which she did. She handed me a tablet to review the paperwork I did online and said, "Just so you know, your appointment is at 930, it's 930 now so you should fill this out as quickly as possible so that she has enough time with the doctor." I was really upset by this statement - moments prior she said the doctor was double booked, and now threatened that my daughter may not have her full appointment time with the doctor, insinuating that it was my fault. After I completed the paperwork as quickly as I could and handed back the tablet, she clicked through and commented that I did not click "non smoker" and "non drinker," and left those "unspecified." I told her that since they didn't apply to my daughter, a 2 year old, I just clicked through those sections (since time was apparently of the essence). Instead of understanding, she continued to click through and point out the areas I did not click off, sarcastically asking "Does she drink? Does she use smokeless tobacco?" Then, having been told to rush through the paperwork so that my daughter could have "enough time with the doctor," we waited for 30 minutes in the waiting room.Dr. Silberman was very pleasant. It is unfortunate that his front office staff do not match his demeanor. All the front desk worker had to say was "Sorry about that scheduling mix up" and I would have understood. We all make mistakes, but to be sarcastic and rude to someone - especially after I apologized - was not only unprofessional, but unacceptable."
"I saw Dr. Silverman and i was so happy . He is so professional and so knowledgeable. He made me so comfortable with his demeanor. Everything went well and i am glad that my daughter recommended Coastal ENT to me. Her son has been there at least twice and is coming now every three months for his ears. My husband now is interested as well for those ears that seem to cause a lot of issues for swimmers . The process was so easy filling out your health forms online and then no need to do it in the office. The receptionist and lpn were so kind . Over all a very nice experience. "My experience with Dr. Seth McAfee was excellent. I've had two exostoses surgeries under his care. He's highly intelligent with a unique and super focused skill set. Highly regarded from his peers -- that was important to me while I was doing my research on who I was going to trust with this procedure.I had minimal post-op pain and discomfort, which is a testament to his attention to detail, patience and commitment to his craft. From my gathering, he is the most experienced set of hands on the east coast for this delicate and arduous procedure. "Noel Barbara Filkohazi Dr Silberman did my septoplasty surgery on Friday August 19th what was supposed to take 90 minutes took over 3 hours. I kept putting my surgery off for years and my sinuses was very infected.I was in a lot of pain on Friday I get my stents out tomorrow on Wednesday I do have to say I think I'm healing pretty well no complications and the doctor did a wonderful job . "It was 3 yrs ago. Dr Seth Mc Afee observed me for 3 weeks with medication/scoping, then 1 month later (insurance) took a biopsy which led to a diagnoses of very early stage Laryngeal Cancer. Dr Seth 3 days later immediately referred me right away to NYC for a specialist. He was upfront and said "this is beyond my scope and do not want to wait any longer" I thank him for his early and immediate attention."

"Visit with doctor was fine, he listened and explained things to me; however, my medication was not called in creating a problem. I tried to call the office at 4:50 using the extension given by the automated prompt, the call disconnected. I was leaving town the following morning and needed to have my medication called in to another location. That resulted in 6 calls, 4 answers, and only one person, Gabby, who took the time to both call and email the office manager for me. The other women connected me to the wrong extension. It was a terrible experience and truthfully because of this I am rethinking staying with this practice."
