"The doctor was ok. The facility was fine, but what I thought was strange, in the middle of my examination with the ENT doctor, a staffer (perhaps a nurse) randomly walked into the examination room and began looking in the cabinet and fumbling with stuff in the room that had absolutely nothing to do with me or my examination. I thought that was extremely rude, especially since there was absolutely no explanation on his behalf. A little more consideration for the patient who is actually the customer, would go a long way. The staffer was not only rude to me, but was also rude to the doctor by his actions of walking in without even knocking in total oblivion, disregard and disrespect for me and for the doctor. Decorum, people!"

"About their audiologists. My wife and I have been seeing Stephanie Salerno to get fitted for hearing aids. She has been efficient and helpful. I had a problem recently with my hearing aids, Stephanie wasn't available when I was, and I saw Melanie Pangilinan, who was also efficient and helpful.About their staff. There is an enormous desk area in the waiting room area and when we first visited there seemed to be too many women in it. Recently the reception staff seems to have been pared down to three women in a space big enough for six and they seem to be more efficient."

"Most office staff and Dr Patel were great. Throat surgery went very well. However the surgical coordinator Kelly is not suited for the position. Impossible to contact or communicate with. Week before surgery (scheduled 3 months in advance) she gave us information regarding the anesthesiologist and Jersey Short Medical Center to call and find out about financial obligations. Every phone number was non-working and all info she provided was outdated. Finally contacted anesthesiologist on our own who stated all the info provided by Coastal's Surgical Coordinator was incorrect (they get these calls a lot). Constantly tried to follow-up with Kelly who continuously shifted responsibilities onto us. Refused to coordinate with our doctors (Primary, Pulmonologist and Cardiologist) to retrieve required medical clearances. Cannot emphasize enough was an utter hassle it was dealing with her. Surgery would not have occurred if we did not go above and beyond to get everything done. Although Dr Patel was outstanding i would go elsewhere solely due to surgical coordinator."

"My first visit to see Dr Patel. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and checked in with an iPad. Def easier than paper. I was seen on time and Dr Patel listened to my concerns with sleep apnea and we discussed using inspire which I was hoping to get. Unfortunately he's so good at what he does I have to wait a bit for a final test. Other than that I would recommend this practice."

The nurse practitioner answered all of my questions about what was going on with my ear and then I found out it was me that was causing the problems. She ordered some medicine and told me to keep my fingers out of my ears. Ha ha I would highly recommend them for a doctor. As matter fact, I’m going to try them as a nose doctor"

Inaccurate information given on the phone when making an appointment as well as a less than competent and efficient office staff. Significant training needed. "Dr. Goldfarb is absolutely incredible! I came in regarding my deviated septum and also had a few questions in reference to possibly also doing a rhinoplasty at the same time. Not once did I feel pressured, overwhelmed or nervous. I ended up booking my surgery that same week and got lucky with a quick surgery date. Bedside manner was amazing. Recovery was great and I received multiple calls to see how I was feeling. My results are also stunning and mind you, I only had surgery two weeks ago! Thank you to Dr. Goldfarb for the confidence I always lacked and for helping my breathing at the same time. Also thank you to your team for being amazing! Dr.Husain addressed every concern i had and now im breathing better than i ever did. Dr.Husain and Dr.Goldfarb performed surgery together to fix nasal breathing and 10/10 would see them in the future if need be, aside from recommending them to everyone i know with nasal issues! "I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Husain, he is incredible. I had an operation with him 4 months ago and everything has been amazing since. The visits leading up to my pre-op were comprehensive and he takes the time to listen to your concerns and questions. One of the best physicians I’ve had because of the time he dedicates to the patient and the way he explains what is going on/what needs to be done. I was initially a little worried about having surgery but Dr. Husain eased my feelings my explaining the procedure in depth, what needs to be done before, and what needs to be done afterwards to ensure a successful recovery. Dr. Husain and this surgery changed and improved so many aspects of my life, I could talk about it endlessly. I am so grateful to have my care under such a professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable physician. The results of the surgery are so incredible, I have been telling everyone I know with nasal issues to check this office/doctor out. Dr. Husain never made me feel rushed out by taking the time to answer my handful of questions at each visit and explaining what my body has been/is doing. If you have a deviated septum, nasal obstruction, sinus issues, this is one of the best doctors you could come across. 10/10. His staff is very helpful as well when needing to reach him and are great at answering questions through the patient portal. The only issue I’ve encountered with this office was when I called to make my first appointment and they put my information incorrectly, which was a quick fix at the visit. A big thank you to the staff and Dr. Husain for all the help and kindness."

"I am beyond impressed by this office. I was referred to an ENT after having constant pressure in my head and a bunch of other symptoms. From what I thought was just stubborn allergies, the real issue was brought to light and recently worked on. This whole experience made me wonder why I didn't go here sooner. Dr. Husain has wonderful listening skills and truly seemed to care about my concerns. This really helped because I've been burned by doctors in the past so he really eased my anxiety with this. "The Holmdel location is SO much better than the Neptune location! When you walk in you are greeted nicely and are seen promptly. What a total difference at this location than the other ones. Dr. Hussain is hands down one of the most down to earth, friendly and caring doctor I have ever met. He is incredibly attentive, responsive, forthcoming, and resourceful as well as solution-focused. I had such a negative experience prior and started to think I needed to go to a whole new practice, but I couldn't have made a better decision checking out the Holmdel location and I recommend anyone looking for a second opinion or need a change of scenery so to speak. This location is the place. Much better parking as well and easy to navigate."

"I just want to say how grateful I am for Dr. Bones at Coastal ENT in Holmdel. After being seen by a different practice and suffering unnecessary bleeding and infection from a ear wax procedure Dr Bones accommodated my last minute emergency in her office. I could not hear out of my right ear when I arrived at her office. Despite feeling scared and a bit traumatized by my previous experience I found Dr Bones to be so gentle, kind, understanding and above all else professional. Best of all after leaving her practice I could hear again. To make sure all was good I went back for a follow up a week later where she proceeded to make sure all was cleared up and healed. Doctor Bones was wonderful and I would highly recommend her. I also recommend the entire practice as they were all very accommodating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"I personally did not have a bad experience. Dr. Husain is amazing! The receptionists aren’t the friendliest. There was a very elderly man who needed extra assistance and they were not too patient or friendly with him, one even raised her voice. After a while one receptionist finally came from around the desk to help him finish his paperwork. When working with people I think you need patience."

"My grandson was referred to an ear nose and throat doctor because of enlarged tonsils. My daughter and I both accompanied him to the appointment to see dr. Hussain all three of us liked him he was a very nice and very informative. And the staff was excellent. Jen took all of his information and talked with him like they were old friends allowed him time to talk about his favorite show. The girls at the front desk or false are great upon arrival and as we were leaving. They even offered all three of us Tootsie roll which is big in my book. I would recommend this office staff and doctor to anyone."

"I found coastal ear and nose by accident, I had a very bad ear infection n my regular dr couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I called them here and they got me right in. Best accident ever! Dr. Roche is such a great dr. He takes his time, he listens to everything u say. He makes the experience like visiting and old friend not going to a dr who just wants to move onto the next person. The staff there are amazing!!! I have a large family and when I call or come in Chris,Mike and Danielle B. Know who we are and who needs what! It’s so personal and a great feeling not to have to worry that they don’t have my families best interests.
