"Dr. Houston was recommend to us by a very close friend. My son has needed his tonsils out for a long time and I was apprehensive about it. The staff is very nurturing, compassionate, and welcoming. Its a great office. Dr. Houston himself is an absolute amazing doctor and surgeon. He is a facts and numbers guy. Other reviews say he is "arrogant" , but he isnt at all. He is clearly very knowledgable in his field, and he is a straight shooter, which I really appreciated. He took his time to speak me before the procedure and explained to us just how the healing process will go. He was completely on the money about what to expect. The surgery was quick and I felt confident that my baby was in the best hands possible. Rumors around the office staff are that Dr. Houston is the best surgeon, if you ask. I must agree. I wouldnt have trusted anyone else with my son."
"Dr. Houston was so wonderful. We have had recurring issues with my son’s tonsils and after seeing him it’s the first time we have some answers and resolution to the situation. He was calm and gentle with my 4 year old scared child, which kept him comfortable and feeling safe. On top of that, Dr. Houston took the time to explain everything in detail and was patient with our questions as parents. I wish all doctors were as kind and thorough as he is. "I have been a patient of Dr. Houston’s for many years. My recent office visit was on par as always. Front Desk staff extremely efficient and courteous. Wait time for scheduled appointment was only a few minutes. Once in the patient examination room, technician was welcoming and pleasant. When Dr. Houston entered examination room, he was pleasant, listened to my concerns, prepped and performed examination, spent time with me for Q & A and prescriptions were electronically sent to my pharmacy on the spot. Dr. Houston concluded that he would be available to me if I had further concerns and departed politely and respectfully. My overall experience, as always, was 5 stars plus!!"

"My check in was fast. Before I knew it, my name was called and Katie led me into Dr. Houston's office and asked me some preliminary questions. Dr. Houston came in and explained what he was going to do. I had complained of a slight feeling of water in my ear. He did a fast and thorough job examining my ears and taking action by removing a wax build up in my left ear. That was what I needed. No more water in the ear. My hearing also improved. I'll go back again if the need arises."

"Dr. Houston was exceptional. He clearly understood why, and when, I was experiencing dizziness. He proceeded to thoroughly check both of my ears. A series of exercises were performed with me sitting up, head moving left and right. With my head resting, as if on my pillow, he made several more movements of my head. To my satisfaction, the dizziness that I had experienced for so many days, was now gone. At bedtime I am able to move my head to the right on my pillow, and raise up from the bed, without any dizziness.I want to also add, that Bree was so thorough and efficient. She brought me into the examination room and reviewed my medical history, including medications. She made sure that every reason why I was in the office was well documented for the doctor.Thank You, Bree and Dr. Houston."

"We had a great experience with Dr. Houston! We had a really bad experience with two other ENTs. When we needed to see another one, my son's ped said "I want you to see Dr. Houston. I think he will be a good match for your family. He listens.". She was absolutely right. Dr. Houston was concise, approachable and helped put pieces together from my son's complicated medical history that other specialist did not do. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because there was a front desk woman who was a bit rude when I went to check on the wait time for my son's appointment."

The line didn’t move quickly enough because of this, and even though I arrived five minutes early and was the third person in line, it was ten minutes past my appointment time before I was checked in and able to sit in the waiting area. It was difficult to hear what the receptionist who checked me in was saying because she talked too fast and low while the other girls were talking loudly. She was visibly annoyed when I asked her to repeat herself because I couldn’t hear her. Because now while my son needs to get tubes in his ears he can't even be seen again until August. This should have been handled right the 1st time around. "Dr. McAfee is a fantastic doctor and truly an expert in his field.I was suffering from hearing loss and it was becoming more frustrating every day not being able to communicate with people. I was going to another ENT practice before going to see Dr. McAfee. The other ENT recommended hearing aids, which helped a little at first. After multiple visits and many adjustments I was at a point where this practice could no longer help.I met Dr. McAfee a few years ago and he along with Dr. Sean Houston had suggested that I might have otosclerosis, which was causing my hearing loss. Dr. McAfee had suggested I have a stapedectomy procedure to help with the hearing loss. Dr. McAfee explained the procedure, the risks, and answered all questions I had.After 2 successful procedures, my hearing has improved tremendously! "I love the entire office - been going to Dr Houston for literally 20 years. Never an issue - he is wonderful as was Dr. Mitskavich. Dr. Macafee is also fabulous and funny. I have had only two issues in 20 years, and they were not with Dr. Houston or Mitskavich. The one time I had Dr. Engel he rushed the visit, and Dr. Bucholtz DEF does not want to be there, or, he hates the elderly. Has no patience with my father EVER. Borders on rude. He needs to check himself and be nicer to old people. If he doesn't like his job, he should go elsewhere. I am going to take my Dad to one of the other doctors there in the future. I don't normally complain, but I've had it with that guy. Just not nice."
"Dr. Huston has been my ENT since I was 12 years old and I am now 22. I had a LOT of issues with my sinuses and breathing. Dr. Huston took his time to access everything I was feeling. He completed two surgeries on me, tonsils, and also fixed my deviated septum. To this day I never have issues breathing through my nose. I breathe deeper and easier than ever before and my monthly sinus infections have ceased. I would recommend him to anyone :)"
